How multi-hand blackjack works

You place a bet on up to three spots and play each hand in turn, left to right, against the same dealer hand. Each hand follows the same chart; the cell for the hand you are playing is outlined below the game.

Change the number of hands (1 to 3) and the other players in Table settings.

More hands, same house edge

The house edge is the same on every hand: 0.62% of each bet with these rules. Three hands put three bets at risk every round, so the average loss per round is three times larger:

Hands per roundMoney at risk per round (25 per hand)Average loss per round
1250.15
2500.31
3750.46

All hands play against one dealer hand, so they often win or lose together. That makes the swings of a session larger than playing the same number of hands one at a time.

Playing more hands does not improve your odds. It only puts more money on the table each round.
